Dance Fever Services
|
| While we have been recognized as the largest children's/youth ballroom dance studio in the US, our offerings go far beyond children's classes. We have opportunities for every age group and every level- whether you're an adult looking for a fun way to get fit, an engaged couple looking for help on your wedding dance, or just someone looking to gain some confidence and some dance skills, we have something perfect for you. |
| Children and Youth Classes |
| For young children, we offer classes that combine international Latin and Standard ballroom dance styles. In these classes, basic steps and rhythm are emphasized. Kids also learn fun social dances like swing and disco. For older students, more emphasis is placed on technique, musicality, and partnering. |
| Dancers have the option of participating in Dancesport competitions. If they choose to dance competitively, we offer private coaching as well as classes that focus especially on competition. Whether students compete or just dance socially, everyone has the opportunity to perform in the all-studio showcase at the end of each session. |

Adult Classes |
| We have a number of lesson options for adults, including conveniently scheduled classes on Friday evenings and weekdays during lunchtime. We offer a variety of Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced classes in International Latin and Standard Styles, as well as American Style and social dances like Salsa, Hustle and Merengue. |
| All students have the option of performing and/or going to ballroom competitions; group and private lessons are available. We even have special wedding dance services! Read on to learn more |

| International Standard |
| Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep |
| International Latin |
| Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive |
| In the world of Dancesport (particularly in the US) there are four categories of competitive ballroom dance: International Latin, American Rhythm, International Standard, and American Smooth. The American styles somewhat resemble the International styles (Rhythm is to Latin as Smooth is to Standard). However, the two styles tend to have unique steps, styling, and timing. At Dance Fever Studio (particularly in the children's classes), we focus primarily on the International styles. Both Latin and Standard consist of five dances each; read on to learn more. |
