Natalia was born in Russia in 1986. At the age of seven she started dancing but not yet in ballroom. She accidentally got into ballroom dancing when a boy in need of a partner asked her to give it a try and also see if she liked ballroom. Obviously she liked it as that chance meeting launched towards a wonderful ballroom career. Natalia is a hard worker and is always striving for the best. As a competitor she has been The Urals Region Champion for four years, finalist and semi-finalist of The Russian Open Championship, The Spartak Cup, Dutch Open, Beodance Open in Serbia, and many more.
Natalia lived in Slovenia for two years dancing with Andrej Rebula while training with Barbara Ambros, Andrej Skufca, Peter Maxwell, Carmen Vincelj, and Brian Watson.
In 2007 Natalia moved back to Russia and then in 2008 an opportunity to come to the United States developed. She arrived in Washington State and immediately started dancing with Pavel Balykin. One month later they won their first competition.
They are now happily teaching together at Dance Fever.
