Michael Odikadze
Michael Odikadze brings a wealth of expertise and experience to Dance Fever Studio. Originally from Tblisi, Georgia, Michael began dancing at age 9. He was introduced to ballroom dance when he was 14, and immediately fell in love with the sport. He began training in International Standard and Latin ballroom; a few short years later, as an amateur competitor, he became his country’s Youth Open Ten Dance Champion. Michael went on to earn the title of Youth Amateur Champion six times, including the Youth Champion of the former USSR. His credits include the World Championships in Georgia, the Masters of Sport in the USSR, and the USSR Team Championships. Michael’s dance experience is supplemented by his training at the College of Theatre Arts in Georgia, where he studied acting for the stage.
Michael brings a true love of teaching to every lesson. He works with both children and adults, and enjoys continued success with his Pro-Am students in both major and local competitions. Above all, Michael strives to help every student improve him or herself, and feel that he or she is developing and moving forward in their dance on their own terms. He strives to make every lesson and competition a fun and rewarding experience for his students.
