Michael and Natasha Odikadze bring a wealth of expertise and experience to Dance Fever. Their diverse backgrounds and experience in a wide range of disciplines brings a unique combination of skills to the team at Dance Fever.

At the age of nine Michael started learning the cultural folk dances of his native country Georgia. At fourteen he entered a ballroom studio where he learned International Standard and Latin. It was here that he developed a love for ballroom dancing that continues to grow to this day. A few short years later Michael embarked on his amateur competitive career and soon became Youth Open Class Ten Dance Champion. His competitive career was extremely successful as he went on to become a six-time youth amateur champion and the Youth Amateur Champion of the former USSR. Among his many competitions Michael lists the World Championships in Georgia, the Masters of Sport in the USSR and the USSR Team Championships. One of Michael's fondest competition memories goes back to a competition at the age of 17 where he finished first in the Standard competition, first in the Latin competition and on the final day his team won the team match.

Not only has Michael trained in ballroom dancing but other artistic areas as well. In Georgia he studied at the College of Theatre Arts specializing in stage acting. He also successfully completed training at the University of Choreography.

Professionally Michael brings a wide range of other performing arts experience to his teaching. Michael credits performing in TV shows, as a background dancer and choreographing many dances and shows as major contributions to his well rounded background.

Each day Michael brings a love of teaching to every lesson he is involved with.

Michael currently teaches International Latin and Standard to adults and children.

Michael enjoys competing with his students in pro-am competitions. You will often find Michael and his students at many major and local competitions.

Michael strives to 'build champions' and feels that he was 'born to dance'. Each and every student is important to him and each day he endeavors to improve each and every student.

Natasha Odikadze also brings a unique combination of skills to Dance Fever.

Natasha began her career in gymnastics. She trained at the University of Sports Academia. Competitively Natasha competed on the USSR's championship rhythmic gymnastics team.

Michael and Natasha met at symposium for all sports and performing arts. They were an immediate match and started not only their lives together but careers too. In addition to continuing her training in gymnastics Natasha learned ballroom dancing from Michael. Today Natasha offers not only dance teaching but also stretching and conditioning.

Michael and Natasha pride themselves on not only teaching the physical skills associated with ballroom dancing but being positive forces in people's lives. Especially when working with children they influence behavioral, social and relationship skills of their students as they strive to improve people's lives through ballroom dancing.
