Keith Beaty became interested in ballroom dance when his mother took him to her own dance class. There, he saw the passion and commitment involved in dancesport and identified with that passion immediately. He began to train in ballroom, dedicating himself to the art of dance ever since.

One of Keith's favorite things about dancesport is that a dancer never stops learning - he or she must always be willing to grow. He himself is extremely driven as a dancer, competitor, and teacher. As a competitor, every aspect of his life is shaped by and focused around dance; he is one hundred per cent devoted to the form and strives to become champion. As a teacher, Keith's commitment and attention to detail sets him apart. His passion is what helps students rise to any challenges they may face and persevere beyond all odds. He believes in building a solid foundation for every dancer, allowing them to build on the basics to evolve into the strongest dancer they can be.
