Oleksander began dancing at the age of ten in his hometown of Gorlovka in the Ukraine. He was enrolled in dance classes by his mother whose dream it was that he would become a fine dancer. Jean-Philippe began ballroom dancing at the age of six in Montreal, Canada. Unlike how others may have begun their dance careers Jean-Philippe's career started because his parents made him despite his protests. Julia Bobovik began her ballroom training at age 15 in Israel. After seeing a show in which her cousin was a dancer she decided she wanted to learn. Intrigued by the beauty of the Standard dances and the excitement of the Latin dances Julia set out to find a studio to begin training. Soon she was totally immersed in dancing and decided that dancing would be her career. More about Julia Bobovik
